Visualizing in 3D is a combined process, which requires the availability of 3D models on the one hand and a proper 3D visualization software on the other hand. For us it is most important that the 3D models of objects such as landscapes, buildings, vehicles, etc. are designed such that they optimally fit the needs, but also the restrictions of the real-time visualization software. Our designers and artists have been especially trained to create real-time capable 3D models of objects that due to using LODs can be used on hardware platforms of variable performance.

VRtainment is pleased to offer you the choice from a selection of generic 3D models of buildings, cars, people and trees. We furthermore provide special services for custom-designed projects by designing and optimizing 3D models for a specific simulation environment. A generic model can only to a certain degree provide the necessary details for a specific application. Simulation environments of today are featuring different rendering hard- and software as well as different display systems (CRT, TFT, projection, monitor, large, small, low-gain, high-gain screens). 3D models, which look perfect being displayed on one type of display, most probably do not look perfect on a display of different type/size. Our unique knowledge in the field of human perception in combination with our long-term experience allow us to provide you 3D models that optimally fit the technical specifications of your simulation system. 

Our modeling force is not only restricted to performing low-polygonal real-time models. Instead we basically run most developments in parallel creating high- and low- polygonal 3D-models of objects. While the low-polygonal models are designed for use in real-time simulations, the "high-resolution" models are designed for being used in marketing and presentations.

Our selection of 3D models of buildings is currently containing approximately 80 houses of different styles, but is growing each day. All models consist of 3 LODs using high-resolution photo-realistic textures. If our database does not contain houses of the style you have been looking for, we are happy to design and create those 3D models for you.

Bring life to your virtual worlds using our avatars! We are using the widely-distributed mdl-format for our avatars. Soon we will also provide a software interface for loading our models into sgi's OpenGL Performer.

Trees are among the most difficult to handle objects in real-time simulations. Though we do not provide a unique solution, which features a different approach in modeling trees, we relieve you from the strain of getting from a tree picture to a 3D-model of a tree.

Although interactive multimedia presentations do provide significant interactivity as well as the opportunity to display dynamic content, it is only 3D-visualization which enables your client to "fully" handle and understand your product.

We offer turn-key solutions for your 3D-web-appearance including, but no limited to the preparation of photographic textures, the design and the creation of the 3D-objects with an eye for performance on the internet platform and, last but not least we are choosing and implementing the appropriate visualization technique for you.
